Raw Papaya Sambharo | પપૈયાનો લોટવાળો સંભારો | Gujarati Raw Papaya Sambharo

Sliced green raw papaya -  1 cup,
Green chilli - 2,
Oil - 1 1/2 tbsp,
Mustard seeds - 1/8 tsp,
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp,
Turmeric powder - 1/8 tsp,
Salt - to taste,
Gram flour - 2 tbsp,
Water 1 1/2 tbsp,
Sugar - 1/4 tsp,
Lemon juice - 1/4 tsp.

Wash and dry raw papaya along with green chilli. Peel and slice raw papaya using slicer or knife. Cut green chilli as per below image.

In a pan heat oil. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter.

Add sliced raw papaya, chopped green chilli, salt and turmeric powder.

Mix well and let it cook covered for 3 - 4 minutes over medium to medium low flame. Stir in between to cook evenly.

Now add water and again cook covered for 2-3 minutes or till papaya pieces becomes tender.

Now add sugar and lemon juice. Mix well.

Sift in gram flour using sieve.

Cover with lid and let it cook for 1 - 2 minutes over low flame.

Mix well. Remove from the heat. Transfer into serving bowl and serve with meal.

Adjust amount of ingredients as per taste.
Cooking time may vary as per the size of raw papaya pieces.
