Papaya salad | પપૈયા સલાડ

Grated raw green papaya - 1 cup,
Coriander & cumin powder -1/2 tsp,
Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp,
Salt - to taste,
Sugar - 3/4 tsp,
Lemon juice - 1 tsp,
Fresh coriander leaves - 1 tbsp (optional).

Wash and dry raw papaya well. Peel off the skin and remove seed.

Grate raw papaya as per below image.

In mixing bowl, add grated raw papaya along with coriander & cumin powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, salt, sugar and lemon juice.

Mix well. Serve with meal.

Adjust amount of ingredients as per taste.
Add 1 tbsp of chopped coriander leaves for better taste.
This salad is usually serve with different varieties of gathiya.
