GREEN CHUTNEY RECIPE & METHOD TO STORE FOR A LONG TIME.

Ingredients
Cilantro (chopped ) - 3 cup,
Mint leaves - 2 cup,
Roasted cumin - 1 tbsp,
Fennel seeds - 1 tbsp,
Green chilli - 8-10 pieces,
Ginger (chopped) - 1 tbsp,
Salt - to taste,
Lemon - 1 1/2 tbsp,
Black salt - 2 tsp,
Water -1/2 cup or as required.


Method
Wash & roughly chop coriander, mint leaves, ginger and green chillies.
In a mixer grinder, add roasted cumin seeds and fennel seeds. Grind into powder form.



In same mixer jar, add chopped coriander, green chilli, mint leaves, ginger, salt, black salt, lemon juice and water.


Crush it using blender / mixer grinder. Serve with any kind of chaat or regular meal.




To store
Refrigerate and use this chutney up to 3-4 days.

To store up to a month
Fill chutney in ice tray or silicone mold. Cover and keep it in freezer until frozen.


Remove from ice tray. Store in airtight freezer safe container and store up to a month. Whenever you need, take require chutney cubes out of container from freezer an hour before.


Notes
This chutney can be served with all kinds of chaat.
Adjust amount of water according to desire thickness.
Amount of all ingredients may vary as per taste.
Add Garlic and peanut if you wish.
