Chakri (Murukku)

Ingredients
Rice flour - 2 cup,
All purpose flour -2 tbsp,
Salt - to taste,
Sugar - 1 tsp,
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp,
Asafoetida(hing) - 1/8 tsp,
Carom seeds - 1/2 tsp,
Cumin seeds - 1 1/2 tsp,
Black salt - 1/4 tsp,
Crushed Black paper -1/4 tsp,
Sesame seeds - 1 1/2 tbsp,
Ginger paste -1 tbsp,
Green chili paste - 1 tbsp,
Sour cream - 1 1/3 cup,
Oil - for frying.

Method
Roughly crush cumin seeds and carom seeds using mortal and pestle and add in a mixing bowl followed by all the above ingredients except oil. Mix well and form into a medium stiff dough.

Take Chakri maker machine and use star hole plate and grease all well with oil, and fill the prepared dough. Heat oil in pan. Take parchment paper and make chakri in circle shape. Make sure to seal the end of chakri(like i did). Using spatula, drop chakri in oil(don't put so many together). Fry in medium flame both the sides till it gets golden brown color. Take them out in a paper towel.

Notes
Quantity of sour cream depends on quality of rice flour.
Instead of sour cream, you can use thick curd(as required in forming dough) + oil(2 tsp).
Use fine rice flour for better result.
Corn flour can be used instead of all purpose flour.
Let chakri cools down completely before store into airtight container/zip lock bag.
