Gujarati kobi no sambharo, A stir fry cabbage & carrot

Ingredients
Cabbage (shredded/chopped) - 1/3,
Carrot (lengthwise chopped) - 1,
Green chilli (lengthwise chopped) - 1,
Oil - 1 tbsp,
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp,
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp,
Salt - To taste,
Turmeric powder - 1/8 tsp,
Sugar - 1/8 tsp,
Lemon juice - Few drops.


Method
Wash carrot, cabbage and green chilli. Peel carrot and chop it along with cabbage and green chilli.


In a bowl, add chopped carrot, green chilli, cabbage, salt and turmeric powder.


In a pan heat oil. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let it splutter. Add chopped cabbage, carrot, green chilli, salt, turmeric powder and mix well.


Cook for a minute or until cabbage cooks slightly. Switch off the flame. Add sugar and lemon juice. Mix well. Serve warm with your meal.

Notes
Sugar and lemon juice can be omitted.
Increase or decrease amount of cabbage, green chilli and carrot.
